About Me
It all started when…
Well I have been a professional photographer since 2010. Shooting weddings, debutante balls, family photos and corporate work. I branched into teaching photography around 6 years ago after relocating to regional Victoria. The remoteness of the area has a great benefit of the absence of light pollution at night.
I attended a photography workshop in Melbourne and met a very talented photographer and instructor in Matt Krumins. Soon enough we collaborated on Astro-photography workshops in Northern Victoria. These were very successful workshops and I really enjoyed bringing people from the city, to the outback.
The phone photography workshops kicked off after posting a photo of our cat (Jazz) onto social media.
It was a pretty cool photo of her in the morning after overnight rain and people wanted to know how I took it. Soon enough, I started running phone photography workshops locally. They were and they continue to be a huge success. Students are constantly amazed at what this little camera can do.
At the end of 2019 I decided to “take the show on the road” well the road that is the internet, so that people from all over the world can enjoy the photography that can be had, with the phone.
Thanks for looking.
Shayne.
